From a climatic point of view, there is hardly any other country in the world that is better suited for viniculture than the region between South Tyrol and Sicily. Typical of Italian wines is their diversity because they thrive in different regions, the grape varieties differ greatly and the production methods also vary. So it's no wonder that Thomas Münchow started importing wine in 1993 with products from Italy of all places. To this day, we at Gustomo particularly appreciate the large variety of classic, but also innovative manufacturers. We are still closely associated with many partners from the very beginning, including Le Corti and Baracchi.
