Poggio Capponi - Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG is a ruby red wine. This wine is the trademark of Poggio Capponi and a true "pearl" of sunny Tuscany. 

The ripening time for the Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG is 18 months. First the wine is kept in steel tanks. The wine is then stored in wooden barrels in order to maintain its special taste and intensity.

Notes of ripe berries, fruity jam and liquorice on the nose. The Poggio Capponi - Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG is balanced, fruity and gentle. The maturation time in wooden barrels ensures the fruity character. Velvety tannins and a variety of fruits on the palate. Boasts a long lasting aftertaste in the finish.
