Uva Mira - Sauvignon Blanc Limited Release is a white wine with light straw yellow and greenish reflections in color. 

Uva Mira - Sauvignon Blanc grapes are found in the highest vineyards of the winery. On the slopes of the Helderberg, across from False Bay. The early morning breeze cools the vines, which adds to the excellent natural acidity in the grapes. Decomposed granite floors add to the minerality on the palate. The winters are mild and warm. The rainfall is very different depending on the season as well as the average temperatures in the summer months. Despite the constant climatic fluctuations Uva Mira alwyays crafts first class wines. 

The aroma is a mix of a tempting tropical scent of papaya, grapefruit, and passion fruit. The taste is graced by a fresh kick of a lemon with a mixture of juicy black currants and fine finesse of seaweed. The finish is dry and refreshing with persistent minerality.
