This Montepulciano smells sweet like wild berries, vanilla notes, cocoa and roasted aromas. It is stored in barriques for 7 months.

In terms of taste, the Poggio d´Alba Montepulciano d´Abruzzo DOC is soft, velvety and warm. The fine tannins and the lively character as well as a very persistent and expansive finale round off the great overall impression of this wine from Abruzzo.

Goes well with traditional Italian cuisine, dark meat and aged cheeses.
