The Family winery Corte Merci exists since 1957 and is run by Francesco Merci and his two sons Nicola and Maro.
The vineyards are located in the heart of the Valpolicella in the Negra Valley in the hills between 300 and 500 meters above sea level, facing southeast and southwest, near Jago. The soil is clayey and calcareous with a good proportion of rock fragments. The vines are up to 60 years old and produce a blessed harvest with excellent quality for the successful family winery Corte Merci.

The dark red color from the Corte Merci - Amarone Della Valpolicella DOCG is powerful and impenetrable. Enormous garnet-red reflections enrich the perfect appearance in the wine glass.
The concentrated scent is warm, lush and inviting. Ripe pickled plums with a hint of cinnamon, spices and Italian herbs. In terms of taste, it convinces with harmonious softness on the palate and fine tannins for a lasting finish.
