The ancient Greeks discovered the Valle d´Itria and quickly recognized the advantages of the moderate but warm climate that prevailed there.

At over 350 meters above sea level, they were the first to plant the Nero di Troia vine. Since then, it has been an integral part of the Valle d´Itria. The Masseria Tagaro - Nero di Troia Spatus 8 Valle D'Itria IGP is a soft, pleasant and at the same time fresh, invigorating wine. 

An intense scent of ripe, red and dark fruits such as raspberries, blackberries, currants and cherries. A touch of fresh spice accompanies the balanced red wine.

The taste presents itself the Spatus 8 full-bodied with a soft tannin structure and a lively freshness. Always fruity and pleasant in the finish. 

Spatus 8 has an authentic style and strong character. It is an excellent companion for a wide variety of dishes.  

Goes well with pasta, grilled meat and cheese.
