“I am a connoisseur with body and soul. That's why a lot in my life has revolved around my great passions for more than 35 years: wine, good food and specialties. This enthusiasm sparked in Italy many decades ago, and now my heart is beating particularly loudly for South Africa and its people. And even though I could retire so slowly, I'm still burning for my passion. Every year I go on several wine trips and visit the whole world, always with the ambition to discover the next special wine or a little-known specialty. When I find specialties in lesser-known regions that I can recommend to others, my heart skips. This is also noticed by the winemakers, cellar masters and wine experts, with whom I maintain close and, above all, personal contact. "
