Poggio Capponi - Vin Santo D.O.C Translated means holy wine and is an excellent dessert wine in amber color.
He brings the peculiarities of the typical Tuscan sweet wine, of the Passito, expressed. The grape varieties Trebbiano, Malvasia and San Colombano are dried after a careful selection, the must is then aged in small Caratelli (wooden barrels) made of oak, cherry or chestnut wood for 3 to 4 years. After bottling, it stays in the bottle for around 6 months.
An intense scent on the nose for honey and dried fruits. The taste is warm, soft, flattering, persistent, with hints of apricots.
Goes well with dried fruits, pastries and aged cheeses.
